The North Shore of Oahu is home – a beautiful, vibrant place that I'm proud to have grown up in and continue to serve. Real estate has always been a part of my life. My father, Richard Sterman, is the Principal Broker of our office, and Sterman Realty has been a trusted name on the North Shore for more than 45 years, built on professionalism, integrity, and strong community relationships.
Growing up, I learned far more than the business of real estate from my father. He taught me the value of honesty, hard work, and treating people with respect. Most importantly, he showed me that helping families find the right home is about building relationships and making a positive impact on people's lives.
Following in his footsteps felt like a natural path, while also bringing my own approach and perspective to the business. I genuinely enjoy every part of real estate – from getting to know my clients and understanding their goals, to finding the right property, negotiating the best outcome, and handing over the keys at closing. Helping people navigate one of the biggest decisions of their lives is something I never take for granted.
I'm also passionate about my family, my friends, and my hobbies. My wife, Ana, is not only my biggest supporter but also my biggest motivator. She has worked alongside me for the past four years as my assistant, helping keep every transaction organized and ensuring our clients receive exceptional service. This year, she became licensed and officially joined me as a Realtor, allowing us to serve our clients together along with our team. We're also fortunate to have an incredible group of family and friends who share our love for the outdoors and the island lifestyle. When I'm not working, you'll usually find me heading offshore to go fishing on my boat, working out, surfing, foiling, golfing or flying drones.
I've been flying drones since 2013, and aerial photography has become one of my favorite ways to showcase the unique beauty of every property I represent. That's why I provide professional aerial photos and videos for every property I list or manage at no additional cost – it helps buyers and renters truly appreciate a property's location, surroundings, and features.
Before real estate, I was a professional skimboarder and had the opportunity to travel and compete in many incredible places. I won Hawaii's Advanced (Pro) Division in skimboarding and grew up sandsliding on the North Shore. The ocean has always been a huge part of my life. Although a back injury has kept me out of the water more than I'd like, my passion for surfing, foiling, and the ocean remains as strong as ever.
I believe life is about continuous growth, meaningful relationships, and giving back to the community you call home. That's why I love living and working on the North Shore.
